Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, Vyskeř

The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary is situated on the site of a small wooden church from the 15th century

Only later was the church rebuilt in the Gothic style as a small stone church. In 1723 the church obtained a bell called Maria, which later was taken down for its great weight, 314kg, and hung in a wooden belfry standing near the church. The church gained its current appearance during reconstruction in 1914-1920. Modifications of the interior were finished in 1925. The building consists of a main and side nave, there are three altars situated inside.
