The Ještěd Ski Resort is a new, modern skiing centre that has been completely renovated. Besides the new cable railways and ski lifts you can also find new restaurants and take-aways, ski rental shops with new equipment, a service shop and a ski school for adults and children.

Pec pod Sněžkou is not only the starting point for hikes to the highest mountain in the Czech Republic, Mount Sněžka, but it is also popular for summer and winter sports. Pec pod Sněžkou takes advantage of its elevation - 800 metres above sea level. Mount Sněžka,- 1,602 m, is covered with snow for 5 - 6 months.

The Mladé Buky Ski Resort is situated on the slope of Pekelský Vrch. It is located just by the road from Trutnov to Pec pod Sněžkou.

Janské Lázně is not only an important spa resort but a popular winter sports resort as well. The locality is in the eastern part of the Krkonoše, under Mount Černá Hora 1 299 m. The largest ski runs are on the slopes of Černá Hora and the neigbouring Světlá Hora.

Bedřichov is one of the most important tourist centres for winter and summer sports in the Jizerské Hory. Its calm atmosphere is appreciated by families with children. The locality is easy to access by means of the municipal transport from Jablonec nad Nisou and Liberec.

Benecko is the highest elevated municipality in the western Krkonoše. It is situated at the southern slope of Žalý mountain. In good weather, its orientation to the southwest means abundant sunshine. The locality offers unforgettable views of the landscape, towards Mount Kotel and the Krkonoše ridges.

The modern ski resort is situated on the slopes of Mount Čertova Hora.

The Herlíkovice Ski Resort is in the Krkonoše, 3 km from Vrchlabí.

The Horní Domky Ski Resort is one of the largest and most popular ski centres in the Czech Republic. It is dominated by Mount Hora, which is accessible by a four-seat chair lift. The upper station is the starting point of of the Krkonoše cross-country skiing arterial trail.

The Horní Mísečky Ski Resort is situated to the north from Vítkovice and to the west from Špindlerův Mlýn. Because of its tranquil atmosphere, it is recommended for a family recreation.
