Liberec Region

Jizera Mountains are one of the oldest natural preserves in the Czech Republic. Up to this day it has preserved the features of Scandinavian forests, which attracts many visitors all year round. It borders with the Giant Mountians in the east and with the Lusetian Mountains in the west. To the most important cities in the region belong Liberec and Jablonec nad Nisou. There are many mountain resorts there, for example Janov nad Nisou, Albrechtice v Jizerských horách and Kořenov near the Giant Mountains.
