Let us introduce you our guest house “Pension KRAUS” briefly and of course, also the Municipality of Benecko in which the guest house is located.

Most of you go on holiday in order to have a rest and recharge batteries. We are anxious to please you in this respect maximally and prepare your accommodation in a pleasant family environment in double bed, three bed and four bed rooms with their own facilities (shower + WC), TV and satellite, fridge, and most of the rooms have their own balcony.

All-year round our guest may use the dining room with a kitchenette, TV and satellite, a common room with billiards (free), and they may enjoy the view through a glass door. Sauna may be visited upon an agreement.

In summer the mountain bikes that we lend to out guests for free are used quite a lot. Especially those who live in a city will appreciate pleasant moments spent by the fireplace right behind the guest house. Undoubtedly, the heated, roof-covered swimming pool (4 x 8m), which will come in handy in hot summer days, is the most used facility.

A lot of sports facilities located in close proximity of the guest house are available in winter.

Parking is ensured all-year round; in summer at a small private car park right by the guest house (for free), or in winter at a permanently watched car park at about 50 m of the guest house.

Benecko is a picturesque little town situated in the western part of Krkonoše (the Giant Mountains), in the altitude of 900 m above sea level, nearby the towns of Vrchlabí and Jilemnice (circa 10 km).

You might object there are dozens of recreation resorts like this in our mountains, but the opposite is true. Due to its location Benecko is unique.

In comparison with most of other resorts located in a valley, this resort lies on the hill, providing not only an excellent view of The Giant Mountains, but the countryside as well.

Everyone can enjoy it here: those who would like to spend their holiday in a peaceful and beautiful environment, e.g. families with children, but also those who want to enjoy their free time at full stretch.
