The mausoleum is situated in the local cemetery. It is a valuable monument built according to Italian designs. It was ordered by the descendants of Ignaz Klinger, the founder of the local textile manufactory, in 1901.

The object consists of one surface and one underground level, where the deceased Klingers are laid to rest. The most valuable parts include mainly the original sandstone facing and exterior stone decorations.

After years of decaying the building was finally included in the list of objects of cultural heritage in 1994. An extensive reconstruction was commenced in 1995 and completed in 2000.
