The International Day of Monuments and Historical Residences is celebrated annually in April. In our region, this celebration is traditionally connected to the castle of Bezděz, the castle and chateau of Frýdlant, the castle of Grabštejn, the chateau Hrubý Rohozec, the chateau Lemberk, the chateau Sychrov, the chateau Zákupy and other premises. Usually, exclusive access to areas of these buildings which are off limits under normal circumstances are offered here, as well as concerts, drama performances, untraditional tours etc.
