The town of Smržovka hosts the traditional town festival each year in August. Amusement is prepared for young and old alike on the square of T.G.M. As a rule, concerts, drama, fashion shows and other events are the main focus here. Other, supplementary, events include a sightseeing train, a horse-drawn carriage, an outdoor programme in the town park, a photo exhibition, traditional nocturnal dances and open-air festivities.
