Bohemian Paradise
The route copies 24 km long circle around the town and neighbouring willages and you can start it at the railway stop Turnov-město or in Záholice where it is possible to park a car. Calvary at Vrchhůra,sandstone sculpture of nameless author from the end of 18th century belongs to points of interests on the trail. It is stands at one of the highest points in the territory of the town. There is a beatifull view of the town with the dominant new-gothic Cathedral of the Birth of the Virgin Mary, of Valdštejn castle, of Trosky castle and other points of interests of the Bohemian Paradise.
The trail is passing by Rohozec brewery founded at the beginning of 20th century. Beer is cooked here according to original prescriptions from the water coming from Vazovecký creek. In Ohrazenice you will pass by the Pyrám, stone guidepost from 1813 indicating three main directions to Turnov, Mladá Boleslav and Liberec. There are also two interesting churches on the trail, the church of St. Jacob from the half of 16th century in Přepeře and the church of St John Baptist from the turn of 12th and 13th century in Nudvojovice. It is the oldest church in the town of Turnov.
