The information centre sells hiking maps of the region, a tourist stamp of Hradčanské ponds Ralsko with an image of the Common Crane, which was issued on the occasion of the opening of the information centre, as well as postcards and brochures about the history and present of the region.
The information centre also offers plenty of promotional materials concerning not only recreation, but also protection of the environment, the purpose of which is to draw visitors' attention to the uniqueness of this region from the environmental perspective so that visitors will not get into conflict with the environmental protection authorities, for the former Ralsko Military Training Base features copious protected and valuable areas, which must be preserved intact for future generations.
Exposition
The information centre's exposition is devoted to the history of the area of the former Ralsko Military Training Base, the history and present of the local forestry, game-keeping, natural conditions, geological interests, flora, fauna, landscape protection as well as the offer of leisure activities for tourists.
Adult study
The educational area for adults is designed as a study equipped with latest audiovisual technologies. It houses two large LCD touch screens and a laser printed where selected information may be printed.
Room for children
The information centre never forgets the smallest visitors, who will enjoy themselves in the children's corner. For instance, children can learn the wingspan of birds of prey nesting in the area by spreading their arms, or use their height to measure the age of trees. They will also discover a climbing wall, which will make them familiar with the region's wonders and under which is a mattress that is not a mattress but a glade in the wood where the children will learn a lot about the plants growing in the surrounding woods and meadows, including plants that may cause allergies.
