Peřimov was founded in the 15th century and belonged to the Kumburk estate. In the 19th century it suffered several natural disasters - floods, storms, and it was also affected by World War I. From 1911 to 1912 a unique reinforced concrete bridge over Jizera was built in Peřimov.

From Peřimov you will easily get to ski resorts in Špindlerův Mlýn or Rokytnice nad Jizerou in winter or you may set out on hiking trips in Krkonoše in summer.
