The most significant historical monument in the village is St. Prokop's Church from 1908. The dominant feature of Pertoltice and the surrounding region is the basalt hill of Ralsko. On its top, at the elevation of 691m, there is a ruin of the castle of the same name, which belonged to the Vartemberk family. The area around Ralsko used to be a military zone for a long time, closed for ordinary citizens. Therefore the ecosystems in the former zone rank among the best preserved in the Czech Republic.
