Mříčná lies at an elevation of 431m in a valley of the Olšina brook. Numerous houses with elements of classical Krkonoše rural architecture have been preserved in the village. There is also St. Catherine's Church from 1716. The chruch bell dates back to 1484, it was brought there from Štěpanice Castle.

The village is situated in a region that is attractive for tourists, nearby Krkonoše offers excellent conditions for winter sports.
