It extends in a valley of the Dubnický potok, dominated by the surrounding Ralsko and Tlustec hills. Preserved historical monuments include the Church of the Birth of the Virgin Mary from 1702, wood carving of Madonna from the 15th century and pilgrimage place on the road to Janovice and Poustevny. Plenty of timbered houses with access galleries have been preserved as well. The village is mainly interesting for tourists thanks to the ponds located nearby - Hamerský and Horecký.
