Držkov is located south of Tanvald. The village lies in a valley surrounded by hills from 600m to almost 900m high. The highest of them is Černá studnice. The lower part of the village is finished by a steep hillside of the romantic valley of the stream of Kamenice, the right tributary of the Jizera.
