Welcome to the Hamštejn Boarding House which is located in the tranquil surroundings of the Bohemian Paradise where you are sure to enjoy the unique view of the breathtaking varied landscape and where, what is most important, you will find a pleasant relaxation from the busy towns. Not only can you enjoy the views of the true dominating features of the region but also visit them – they include Trosky, the Rocky Town, Hrubá Skála, Valdštejn, Bezděz, Rálsko, Frýdštejn, Panteon and Ještěd. When wandering in the Bohemian Paradise, be sure to visit the nearby Suché skály (Dry Rocks), the Rocky Town Kalich (Chalice), the ruins of the castle Zbiroh, Klokočské skály with the castle Rotštejn or the picturesque meandering valley of the Jizera River, seen when walking along the Rieger´s Path.

You will find here plenty of opportunities for sports, such as hiking, a dense network of biking trails, canoeing the Jizera river and climbing the rich rock formations. The points of interest include the heart of the Bohemian Paradise which is the town of Turnov with its rich history and also its surroundings, known as precious stones deposits and working places.
