The Hotel Štekl is named after the man who established it, Karel Štěkl, who built the hotel on the sandstone rocks next to Hrubá Skála Chateau in 1895. The hotel has been visited by many distinguished guests over the years.  The Hotel Štekl offers accommodation mainly in double rooms, but there are also triple rooms and four-bedded rooms, too. There are four apartments with a hall, a fridge, a living room with a TV and satellite, a bedroom, and a bathroom with a bathtub.  The rooms have a hall, a TV and satellite, and a bathroom with a shower and a toilet. Some of them have a balcony and a fridge, too. There is a free wireless Internet connection in all the rooms and apartments.
