The Pěnkavčí Vrch Ski Resort is located in Velká Úpa, 1,000 metres above sea level. It is accessible from the upper station of the Portášky cable railway, towards the Jana chalet.
The premises are used in particular for family skiing and snowboarding. Because of the elevation, skiing is possible in bad snow conditions. The place offers marvellous panoramic views of the Krkonoše ridges.
Cross country skiing: a panoramic circle around Pěnkavčí Vrch, length 5 km, offering views of the Pomezní Boudy, Sněžka and Mount Černá Hora.
