The chalet is located on the top of Zvičina, not far from Lázně Bělohrad. It was built in 1904 to replace a former inn.
The lookout tower and the cleared parts on the top offer fabulous views of the Krkonoše, the Rýchory, the Vrchlabsko region, Králův Dvůr, the Orlické Hory, the Kladsko borderline with Mount Deštná, the Broumovské vrchy, Mount Kunětická, the region under the Krkonoše and Český Ráj.
